Job Title:                             Head of Employment Law

Experience:                        8 years PQE plus 

Salary on offer:                  Competitive & Dependant on experience

Reporting to:                     Partners

Senior Associate (c.8 yrs. PQE*) or an established Employment Partner - ideally with an existing following - is required to head up and build the employment law function at this growing 9 Partner Tech City law firm.

You will have solid employment law experience in advising on day to day HR queries from clients (including: disciplinary and grievance procedures, sickness absence, performance management, contract and policy reviews), TUPE, managing employment tribunal litigation, and also providing advice to senior executives in the City of London.

This role will suit a self-starter, who has the ability to work closely with the established Commercial Property, Immigration and Corporate Commercial Teams, whilst assisting the wider team on winning new business and retaining strong relationships with existing clients. In return, he or she can expect to benefit from a supportive platform to help build and develop an employment law practice.

Job Title:                             Residential Property Solicitor

Experience:                        1 - 3 years PQE (minimum 1 year)

Salary on offer: Competitive & Dependant on experience

Reporting to:                     Partners

We are seeking to recruit a diligent, confident and self-motivated 1 to 3 year qualified Solicitor to work in a busy department. The successful candidate will responsible for managing a full and varied caseload of property related matters including management of a key client and their workload which is high volume and quick turnaround. With a  minimum of 1 years PQE the candidate must be able to demonstrate a proven track record of working to tight deadlines whilst maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. The successful candidate will be able to liaise closely and work proactively with clients, external agencies and colleagues. 

Some experience in commercial property would be an advantage, as this varied role includes some commercial property transactions.

The key requirements for this role are as follows:-

  • 1 (min) – 3 years Post Qualification Experience in Residential Property
  • Experience in dealing with all matter types including but not limited to Purchases / Sales / Re-mortgages / Transfer of Equity
  • Experience of working in a fast paced organisation
  • Able to work on own initiative as well as part of a team
  • Be able to demonstrate confidence and self-motivation

Job Title:                             Solicitor – Commercial Property

Experience                         3 – 5 years PQE

We are looking for an experienced commercial property Solicitor. The position has arisen because of a 5 year qualified solicitor taking maternity leave. However, although the immediate requirement is to cover this fee earners’ work, the position offered is a permanent role as the department is expanding. No following is necessary but the successful candidate will have to demonstrate excellent client care and business development skills.

Key requirements for this role are as follows:-

  • A minimum 3 – 5 years post qualification experience in commercial property
  • Experience of working in a fast paced environment
  • Dealing with all aspect of property transactions
  • Working on own initiative but also as part of a team
  • Attention to detail is essential
  • Excellent client care skills

 

Job Title:                             Commercial Property Paralegal

We are looking for an experienced paralegal to join our busy and successful commercial property department. Key requirements for this role are as follows:-

  • Educated to degree level
  • Completed the LPC
  • A minimum one year’s experience in commercial property is essential
  • Exposure to and knowledge of residential would also be of benefit.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Able to work on own initiative as well as part of a team
  • Be able to demonstrate confidence and self-motivation
  • Attention to detail is essential

 

Job Title:                             Junior Administrator

Salary on offer:                Competitive & Dependant on experience

Desired Start Date:         ASAP

Reporting to:                     Practice Manager

We are seeking to recruit a junior administrator to join our administrative team providing support and assistance to ensure the effective and efficient running of the office.

Duties will include covering reception and the collection and distribution of post both internal and external. Distribution of stationery and other deliveries including water bottles, kitchen supplies etc. Working closely with our Reception Manager to assist in the efficient processing of file closing and archiving the successful candidate will also provide support to our legal staff with copying, scanning, faxing, filing and other varied duties.

This role is subject to development in line with the needs of the business and is a good opportunity for someone wishing to start a career in the legal profession. Presentation is important in this role as it is a client facing role.
