Kiran Morzeria

Kiran qualified as a solicitor in 1984 and is the Head of the Property Department at DKLM.

He is an experienced and proactive solicitor dealing with all aspects of commercial property specialising in the acquisition and sale of both residential and commercial developments, site assemblies, mixed use and multi-let buildings and secured property finance. He is an expert in drafting and negotiating commercial leases, the purchase and sale of all types of business, industrial units, professional practises, residential nursing homes, hostels and hotels, drafting short term business letting for landlords and tenants, auction sale and purchases and advising on purchase vehicles including offshore structures. These often involve handling complex issues under tight deadlines. Kiran understands his clients business and assists them in formulating strategy and heads of terms before any legal work is undertaken.

He acts for property investment companies, property developers, banks, financial institutions and high net worth individuals who will testify to his excellent communication skills, practical approach, business sense and commercial acumen. He has recently been involved in providing legal advice for a client conveying land and property to the London Development Agency in excess of 10 million pounds, raising secured capital for clients acquiring development sites, setting up and leading legal teams dealing with property aspects within share purchase agreements and setting up legal documents for industrial estates and business parks.

Kiran has an extensive network of clients and contacts within the Asian community in the UK. He is well known in the community he serves and is a member of various Asian Associations.
