History
Founded in 1992, Zhonglun W&D Law Firm (“ZLWD”) is one of the earliest-established Chinese law firms approved by the Ministry of Justice. Primarily a large-scale full service law firm, Zhonglun W&D embraces substantial international elements.
With its headquarters in Beijing, the firm has China-based offices in Shanghai, Tianjin, Chengdu, Shijiazhuang, Taiyuan, Wuhan, Chongqing, Hangzhou, Jinan and Shenzhen. It has dual-jurisdictional offices in London, Riyadh and associated offices in Hong Kong, Lyon, and Paris.
Its multi-national and multi-lingual team consists of approximately 400 lawyers and employees enables ZLWD to provide streamlined first-class legal service to Chinese and overseas clients from its strategically placed branch offices across the world. Its working languages include Chinese, English, French, Korean, Japanese and Arabic and the firm is licensed to provide legal advice under Chinese, Anglo-American as well as Islamic law.
ZLWD has gained high-level recognition by the Chinese government and has been engaged in influential projects commissioned by the governmental departments such as Beijing 2008 Olympic Games, South to North Water Diversion Project, Sichuan-East Natural Gas Transmission Project, Central Asia Gas Pipeline Project and the 60th anniversary of the founding of the PRC.
