Michael oversees the firm’s Litigation department, with a particular emphasis on Property Finance Litigation.

Michael advises Property Finance Companies, Fixed Charge Receivers and Insolvency Practitioners on recovery and enforcement strategies. Clients appreciate Michael’s commercial, direct and results-driven approach. He is recoveries focused and looks beyond the legal aspects of cases to find pragmatic solutions which resolve cases as quickly and effectively as possible.

Michael’s particular expertise includes mortgage enforcement and possession, mortgage regulation, insolvency and restructuring.

In addition to his Property Finance work, Michael also acts for certain key clients on complex, bespoke litigation on various issues across the dispute resolution spectrum.
