Patrick heads the firm’s Corporate and Commercial unit. He has over twenty years’ experience of a wide variety of corporate and commercial matters, in particular the purchase and sale of, and investment in, private companies and businesses. He advises on company and group reorganisations, own share purchases, demergers and shareholder/director relationships (such as shareholders’ agreements, options, articles of association), Partnerships and Limited Liability Partnerships and other commercial contracts. He also takes a keen interest in the law of intellectual property as many of his clients are focused on web based business.
He has written many articles and given seminars on business law both academic and for a lay audience.
Patrick is married with four children. He enjoys reading, all sorts of strategy games (including computer games – he aspires to be a geek) and will indulge in a decent burgundy or malt whisky. The only serious exercise he takes is intellectual.
